Production of costumes

We professionally reconstruct archaeological costumes, that is, hand-made white tribal clothes based on archaeological data from the 1st-14th centuries with appropriate accessories, jewelry and decoration details, as well as historical 15th-16th century costumes. LDK costumes and their details.

We can be proud that our reconstructed costumes are on display in various Lithuanian museums, decorate various folklore ensembles, cultural center educators and event hosts, artisans, politicians or private individuals. We are the most experienced archeological costume reconstructors in Lithuania, so you can confidently order your costumes from us.

Each of our suits is tailored to the client's body shape and complexion, and the highest quality products are selected and matched so that the suit is not only one-of-a-kind, but also aesthetically pleasing. The clothes of Lithuanians, Curonians, Žemaitsians, Aukštaiians, Žimegalians, Jotvingians, Selians, Skalvi and Prussian tribes of any period will be scientifically based on the archaeological data that has been analyzed in detail, and therefore at the same time will fulfill the educational function of the society. With every reconstructed costume we include a costume passport with all the information on which it is created.

Since reconstructed archaeological costumes are expensive and their production process is long, we encourage customers to order costumes as early as possible and offer the option of paying in installments.

If you already have your suit, we can offer you to order only individual products - we weave fabrics with hand looms, we weave winding tapes with plates, we sew shoesus, we make jewelry that perfectly fits the customer's foot - copies of archaeological finds.

If you only need a suit for one time, you can rent it from us - we have options for customers of any shape or height.

Vita Antiqua is also a protected trademark, and each costume created is a unique and inimitable work of science and applied art, protected by copyright.
